Congratulations everyone! *happy dance* Perhaps this will sound foolish, but I am really excited since yesterday, when stories and art started to be revealed one by one. :)

Thank you so much for organising it - and for pairing me up with Ellynn as my artist - as you will see she did a wonderful job of illustrating each and every chapter for me.

I am going to have to save some of the stories to read when I am travelling over this weekend - 2 four hour boat journeys and 2 three hour train journeys in 5 days will pass most pleasurably!

Edited to add, with amusement, that my artist and I have clearly become well attuned to each other as we posted our comments, from opposite sides of Europe, more or less at the same time!!

Congrats for pulling this all together.

I still feel absolutely rotten that I had to pull out, but I'm truly amazed by the work that you ladies who organized it put into it and I can't wait to read when I get the time to catch up with fics!!!

Congratulations everyone!

This was an exciting experience; due to some unforeseen complications, I almost didn't make it and it was really hard towards the end, but the reward - Elleth's gorgeous artwork - made it all worth it. :-)

Thank you for arranging everything!

Yes -- thank you very much for organising the big bang -- it's lovely to feel part of a community -- and thank you, also, to pip for illustrating my story!

Sheesh! That was a LOT harder than I expected it to be. But dreamflower02's BEAUTIFUL artwork was such an inspiration to plug away until the very end, and I do mean that. I went right down to the buzzer! o0

Congrats to all who participated!

Thanks to all for sponsoring this contest. It was one of the rare times that I allowed my art to see the light of day past my studio and selected friends, and I really loved my author.

My dear friend, your story is WONDERFUL! I wish you could publish it "for real". This blending of Narnia and Middle-earth is a marvel. I especially love the quiet, gentle scenes such as these:

"Belovèd, all tasks are dangerous in one way or another; yet this one is not so perilous or so onerous as the one which you undertook.

Frodo swallowed, met the eyes once more, and nodded. "I trust you," he said simply.

Would you please pass along my compliments to your artist, as well? She did a marvelous job on the faces of our young heroes, as well as dear Frodo and Gandalf. I'm so happy to finally have time to read this lovely tale.

(Are any of the other BigBang stories... hobbity? I have so little time to read these days, sadly.)
